Finally, the boys are in form!

The blues put on a show vs London rivals, West Ham United and thumped them 5-0 in one their best matches of the season. It’s been two matches of clean sheet football (plus an additional 45 mins away at Villa) all coming from a tactical switch deployed by Mauricio Pochettino that seems to have balanced out the squad. Marc Cucurella as an inverted left back shifting to the midfield when the boys are in possession. It opens up a double right wing attack of Cole Palmer & Noni Madueke which has pinned teams back from gaining an advantage through the middle. This was all made possible with one of their key players, Enzo Fernandez out for the rest of the year. It was a switch that could have possibly been done earlier in the season, and what could it have been for the season had this been unlocked earlier.

Three matches left in the PL season with two away matches before the season ending match at the Bridge. 1st up, Nottingham Forest who’s in a close fight still to stave off relegation as their battle will go all the way to the end of the season with Luton Town and Burnley not to far off catching them. Let not let up and finish this season on a high note. Where ever we finish, whether it’s a Europa or Europa Conference league qualification, let’s build on what’s working now and keep this form going to build on for next season!
