The 2025 FA Cup kicks off and the focus shifts to the annual cup competition as The Blues enter the 3rd round against The Shrimps of Morecambe FC. This will only be the 2nd time each team has faced one another in a competitive fixture - the last one was this same 3rd round competition in the 2021 FA Cup which ended in a 4-0 victory at Stamford Bridge.

It’s been a shaky run during the holiday fixtures, to say the least, going winless in the last 4 matches. A good time for Enzo Maresca and the boys to have a fresh reset and get back to their winning form which has resulted as high as being 2nd in the Premier League table. Can he get the lads out of the slump? We’ll have to see if he’s up for it.
